The Act! 2007 Software for
Windows from Sage Software is a digital contact and customer management
solution for Windows. The software gives you the tools necessary to store
and access contact and customer information, manage and prioritize tasks
and track communications with contacts. These tools work together to
provide a powerful tool that can help you create lasting business
relationships.
Contact Management
Act! is a powerful contact management tool. The software allows you to
track customer data including such details as name, company, phone number,
mailing address, web address, e-mail and custom date-stamped and
time-stamped notes. You'll be able to create company records and groups,
attach documents to contacts and use Rich Text Formatting to highlight
critical information.
Communication Tools
The software features an e-mail client that integrates with Lotus Notes,
Microsoft Outlook Express and Outlook to send outbound e-mail. Act!
features the tools necessary to track communication and even merge e-mail
and paper communication history.
Personal Organizer
Act! features a personal organizer and calendar that allows you to
schedule daily tasks, calls and meetings. It lets you sort pending items
by priority, date range or user. It even includes integrated alarms that
will help to ensure that you complete time-sensitive deliverables on
schedule.
Track Sales Prospects
The software will let you track sales prospects from inquiry through
closing stages. You can use standard sales processes to track these
prospects or create a customized process to suit your workflow and
industry. You'll even be able to generate quotes from existing data
without having to re-key information.
Detailed Reporting
Act! includes a detailed reporting system that allows you to generate a
report using any of 40 templates. You'll be able to search through fields,
perform numeric lookups and even create custom reports to suit your needs.
PDA Synchronization
The software can synchronize contact and customer information with Palm OS
and Pocket PC devices. This allows you to take your calendar, contact
list, to-do list, notes and history with you wherever you go. There are
also 20 templates that will print schedules for old-fashioned paper
organizers.
